Memorial Day Weekend

The SSC girls had a busy Memorial Day weekend and I wanted to share with you some pics of what we were all up to! Taylor and her family had a wedding at Possum Kingdom Lake where she wore SSC and Shandy, her hubby, and my family along with our aunt Kathy and her kids headed out to Lake Alan Henry for the weekend! Needless to say we all had fun, got way too much sun (yes the last two pics of me for SSC I'm looking super sunburned!) and hated to see it end!

Navy Strapless Maxi

So not sure if ya'll know this or not but maxi dresses are HUGE right now!! I personally can't get enough of them! They are so easy and comfy and this one is soooo cute! If you aren't to sure about strapless, throw on a white cardigan or if you are feeling a little trendy then you could do a denim vest! Yes, I said denim vest!! They are also HUGE right now ;) and you would look oh so cute rocking it over this maxi!! And just to let you know, Target has a super great denim vest that would look AMAZING over this dress! :)

Wedding Weekend with SSC

It's not very often we can get away from the kids and hubbies but this last weekend we were able to have a little girls weekend while attending one of our childhood friend's wedding!  The wedding was in Canadian and if you haven't ever been there, I highly suggest going! It is such an amazing little town.  The wedding was outdoors and it was just a perfect setting.  Taylor and I wore some SSC during the day for shopping and touring the town and Shandy wore SSC to the wedding! I can honestly say we all three had compliments all day long!  Here are a few pics from the day and wedding!!

Boy it's hot outside.....

I didn't think it would ever get here but it finally did! The heat is on!! :) Anyone that likes 80's music probably has that song in their head now ;)  This new top of ours screams summer! I LOVE it!! It's neon (here I am channeling the 80's again) and has a cute crossover front with high-low hem.  Looks amazing with cobalt blue skinnies if you have them or shorts or white skinnies!! And if you are like me and try to look your tannest (not sure that's a word) you will look super tan in this top!

And did I mention it's only $22.00!!!!!!

Mint Floral Dress

This dress is adorable.  When I saw it, I fell in love immediately and when I put it on I loved it even more!! It has a scoop neck in the front and back and it also has a flowy sleeve.  It is also a great length, being that I'm 5'9" sometimes I have a hard time finding dresses that aren't too short but this one is a great length.  It will be the perfect dress that you can dress up with wedges or heels for a wedding or dress down with sandals for a more casual look!
